Winter Storm Hunter looks to be sweeping from the West to the East and leaving a mix of snow, ice, and rain in it’s wake this week. And for those of you not in Japan right now, you can rejoice that snow is on its way (or already here). California’s Mammoth Mountain and Bear have been reporting new snowfall, as well as Mt. Bachelor and Hood. The storm is being reported as a two part front that will bring a change in weather over the course of the next few days. While rain has already swept across a large portion of the Lower 48, the second system is said to bring colder temps with Colorado seeing up to 12 inches in the next 24 hours.
According to the Weather Channel, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Nebraska and Iowa could see blizzard conditions Wednesday into Thursday, and so will the East (Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and more) as the storm moves later in the week.
